Informational use

This website provides general geographic information. It is not a surveying, legal, emergency-response, navigation, appraisal, or real-estate service. Confirm consequential boundary decisions with the responsible government agency or qualified professional.

No warranty

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to present accurate source-based information but do not warrant that every map, label, measurement, link, or page will always be complete, current, or error-free.

Public data and site content

U.S. Census Bureau source data is generally public domain. The site’s original writing, arrangement, visual design, and code are separate works and may not be republished wholesale or presented as another service without permission.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent the source of content, or use automated access in a way that degrades service for others. Normal indexing by search engines and reasonable personal research use are allowed.
